Lego Indiana Jones is the standout in this set, a very fun game based on the popular movie character. I don't know if it's still the case, but since having my Elite, I've had absolutely NO disc read errors. This is a great value for two very good Xbox 360 games This includes Lego Indiana Jones and Kung Fu Panda, both of which are enjoyable and have a lot of replay in them. and especially DIFFERENT disc drives than the white models).
I went through 3 premium (white) systems and got it on all of them until I got fed up and upgraded to the Elite (black) model.īack when I got my Elite (around July of 07), I had heard that the Elites were built with better components on the inside (ie, redesigned motherboard, better cooling components. regardless of what condition the disc is in. For some reason, of which I don't know the specifics, the drive has problems reading the disc and gathering the info on it, resulting in it stopping up and giving you the "dirty disc" error. I was lucky if I even got to play half the time I was on Live.įrom what I understand about the error is that it's not the disc (because I keep my discs pristine and I still got it) but the actual dvd drive in the Xbox. I remember being on multiplayer matches on Rainbow 6 Vegas and getting it, resulting in me having to leave the match and reboot and try to reconnect with my friends in the same match (which resulted in me having to wait 15 minutes for the matches to end. The "dirty disc" error is EXTREMELY annoying.
